Am I Dead Yet? is the new show from Unlimited Theatre inspired by research into contemporary developments in resuscitation science and made in collaboration with Emergency Care professionals.
In light of contemporary advances in resuscitation practice that has seen medical professionals bring people back to life up to six hours after their heart stops beating with no neurological damage or long-lasting impact, Unlimited co-founders and Fringe First Award winners Jon Spooner and Chris Thorpe present their first two-hander, a funny and moving look at the social, political and ethical implications of these extraordinary medical advancements.
Am I Dead Yet? previewed at the Bush Theatre’s Radar festival in 2014 and was part of the British Council Showcase the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh in August 2015. The show was created in collaboration with Emergency Care doctor and secretary of the Resuscitation Council UK Dr Andy Lockey.
