Escape dreary November and be immersed in the rabab, a 2500-year-old stringed instrument from Afghanistan, performed by award-winning musician Qais Essar. Accompanying him is Surdarshan Singh Channa, a rising star in the tabla and pakawaj, two percussion instruments of nobility.
Joining them will be renowned musician Kirpal Singh Panesar, to perform a series of Shabads (sacred songs from Sikh scriptures) synonymous with the great court of Guru Nanak and his minstrels.
