Our first evening concert of the autumn will feature Fergus McCreadie, a phenomenal young pianist and his trio is one of the most exciting young groups in European jazz at the moment.
They were the winner of Album of the Year in the 2019 UK Parliamentary Jazz Awards for their album “Turas”. The trio concerts have earned five-star reviews and an invitation to appear at Ronnie Scotts’ International Piano Trio festival. They have also featured at Oslo and Stockholm Jazz Festivals.
Playing music that reflects the Scottish landscape and traditions while honouring the American and Nordic jazz legacies, they brought audiences to their feet across Northern Europe during their Spring ’19 tour.
Fergus McCreadie: piano; David Bowden: bass; Stephen Henderson: drums.
