Our meeting on the evening of 19th March 2019 will be the annual Science SLAM. This is your chance to volunteer to take part.
Who is the greatest scientist of all time? Is it someone from ancient Greece? Is it one of the big names from the Victorian era? Is it a Nobel prize winner, or even someone still working today? Perhaps it’s somebody that not many people have heard of.
You will have 5 minutes to put your case, and then defend your choice against questions from the audience.
Think about which scientist you admire the most, and then if you are free to take part on 19th March, and would like to speak in favour of your choice at the Science SLAM, please email email@example.com
If you have friends who might like to get email messages from Leeds Cafe Sci but currently don’t, then please forward this message to them. They can then sign up to get these messages by clicking the link below, entering their email address, checking the email box and clicking subscribe.
Cafe Sci Leeds was set up to encourage understanding and debate about topical scientific research and issues in an informal setting. Speakers are invited to present a short talk on an area of science in which they have been involved which is then followed by questions and comments.
